This style was handcrafted from Argentium Sterling Silver. Argentium is an alloy of sterling silver with a very small amount of germanium added to it. It is much more resistant to tarnish than the standard sterling alloy, which consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium contains the same amount of silver as the standard alloy, but a small amount of the copper is replaced with germanium.
