Back to Making Jewelry

The election is over, which means it's time for the whole country to argue over whether the right person won, and which local issues should or should not have passed, but it's also time for everyone to get back to doing what they normally do. For me, that means getting back to making some jewelry. This morning, I made a pair of freshwater pearl drop earrings, my best selling item on etsy. Hopefully later today I'll have more time to work on jewelry making - I've been a bit distracted the past week or so, and I'm really looking forward to refocusing, hopefully finishing up some works in progress, and maybe coming up with new designs. I have a bunch of jewelry that needs to be listed on etsy or sent off to galleries, book reviews to finish and post on the blog, networking to catch up on, and the list goes on and on. Luckily, I love what I do, so catching up, while it's a lot of work, is also very satisfying and some of it is even fun.
