Treasury, blogs, and a fun event

I snagged a treasury west yesterday on etsy! Here's a screenshot - pretty, isn't it? [caption id="attachment_970" align="alignnone" width="327" caption="My Red and Purple Treasury"]My Red and Purple Treasury[/caption] I also just discovered a great blog, Creative Every Day, which hosts the Art Every Day Month each November. It's not too late to join in if you want to try to make art every day for the rest of November. Thanks to Google alerts, I found out I was mentioned on Dulcey Heller's blog. Dulcey does amazing beadwork, definitely worth checking out. Last but definitely not least - there is a holiday art and craft show coming up in Sonoma that should not be missed. No, I'm not selling at it, but I'll be there shopping! It is the Sonoma Artisan Faire and it's from 12:00-5:30 on November 23rd (the Sunday before Thanksgiving) at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Sonoma, California. Why should you attend this event? Because you want to support bay area artists and crafters, because you want unique, beautiful gifts for all your friends this year, and because the quality of goods is going to be fantastic. I've actually shopped with at least two of the vendors - This is It and Daisy Wares - and if their stuff is any indication of the overall quality of the show, it's really going to be amazing! Last year my mom got a journal from This is It for Christmas, and I recently treated myself to some lip balm and facial scrub from Daisy Wares - it is so yummy smelling, and guilt free since it's vegan.
