Etsy Survey (get featured here!)
For those of you reading who sell on etsy, which etsy seller (not yourself, someone else!) do you admire?
Tell me in the comments why you think that seller is awesome, and if you are one of the first 10 to comment, I will write about both of you in a future blog post. Be sure to include both your shop URL and the URL for the shop of the seller you admire so that I can get in touch with you about the feature!
Why would you want to be featured here? My blog currently gets a couple hundred page views per day according to my project wonderful stats, so that's 200 views of your feature when it goes live -- and hopefully some great interviews and tips from the etsians you admire!
I would like to nominate Jealousy Design! I love her work, and I love her as a person!
I’d like to nominate Kelly Klem, of http://www.klymyshyndesign.etsy.com, for me I am so in awe that she actually creates knitting patterns and is published by some major knitting companies. I love her designs and creativity, not to mention her witty comments and interactions on the Etsy forums. I’ve purchased a couple of items from her and just love them.
I want to nominate The Alchemist’s Star:
http://thealchemistsstar.etsy.com
Ginger is an amazing artisan who does beautiful work with jump rings and create gorgeous chain maille jewelry. She was the person who introduced me to Etsy and has encouraged my work and creativity and supported my business. She absolutely deserves to be featured!
Thanks for the opportunity!

Gonna have to nominate http://www.elegantsnobbery.etsy.com. Marisa has the most adorable art and she was kind enough to help me make my shop about 1 million times better than what it was when I first started!
To finish what I had been trying to say before my clumsy fingers hit the sent button too soon:
Jealousy’s jewelry designs are so unique, and I find her to be an inspiration! She has a delightful personality, and has always been willing to help others figure out what they are doing on Etsy! To be featured in one of her treasuries is almost like being featured on Broadway!!
Her shop is at:

I’d like to nominate fellow Etsyian FatalAttraction:

I’ve got two of her pieces, breaking my rule that I don’t buy other people’s jewelry because I make it myself, but her work is so gorgeous!

I found his shop this morning surfing. WOW WOW WOW. In addition to the sheer art that goes into his creations, his web site is uber interesting. I also like that a photo (or two) of him actually creating are included in each listing. Really really phenomenal.

It is hard to pick just one seller. I love ElegantSnobbery’s art, Hullabaloo’s children’s clothes, and Retro Rugrats’ bibs. But I think I’m going to pick valeriesgallery. I love the bowl I got from her. I so wish I had more.
Thanks for doing this, what a great idea.
What an awesome idea! My current favorite is http://LavenderCottage.etsy.com
Her designs are so creative and unique and I aspire to her level of skill! And you know how I am about photos – hers are great!
I love Middleburg Folk Art Studio. Her shop is very well organized, the items are beautifully made and seem universally appealing. Her announcement and profile are well thought out and brief. The photographs are artworks in themselves and provide an amazing consistancy. All of it makes you want to be a part of it! Go see…www.middleburg.etsy.com
Okay I’m also going to nominate Novita from Switzerland, I’ve bought two bags for this seller and can I just say her work is beautiful and so well made, I just love buying from Europe via Etsy and she makes purchases so easy!
Pyong Bricole! Swiss Quality Handmade Goods

Thank you everyone! I am so excited to check out all these great shops, and I’ll be contacting each of you regarding your feature. I’m hoping to get the features all posted by the end of the year.
I can’t believe that’s 10 already! Please keep posting your nominations though, and I’ll work through them in the new year.
I’d like to nominate Bijoux Odalisque. Her shop is just filled with gorgeous things!

Well, I don’t know if it’s fair to nominate two people, but if it is, please consider featuring Fehu Stoneware. Pearl is a pot thrower, and I’m lucky enough to have caught a couple of her creations! Her work is so beautiful and unusual. In addition to her bowls, candle holders, and ornaments, she makes cool little jars to store PayPal Fairy Dust in! My favorite is her line of porcelain Urban Torn pieces. You have to see them to believe it!

What a nice idea. I don’t know if I’m one of the first but I would love to nominate my amazing sister in law at http://www.grayeyedscorpio.etsy.com. She is an amazing sewer and is a great source of advise for me in my shop. I know she will always be honest with me. My shop is http://www.plenox.etsy.com.
I don’t know how to nominate just one! I have so many Etsy Seller heroes! I’ll choose a fellow SF/Bay Area street team member, Lisa from Savor, who is a super business woman along with very talented soapstress!
She’s at http://savor.etsy.com
Great idea!
I have to nominate http://Shazzabeth.etsy.com I am just wide eyed with her designs. She has a gorgeous website too and her work has been featured in a magazine. She has attempted to help me with my wire wrapping which I am slowly getting there. (easy stuff only).
Sharon, sure you can nominate two, thanks for the comment.
Mandy, I’ve seen Shazzabeth’s work and I agree, it is fantastic. thanks!
Thanks for all the wonderful responses! I’m finding some really amazing etsy sellers I’d never heard of.
One of my favorite Etsy shops is Valeriesgallery. http://valeriesgallery.etsy.com
I have a few of her felted bowls and two felted toy balls for my son. I am always in awe of her latest creations. Her pieces are amazing and she is great FAM friend as well!
Thanks!
