Just in case any of my readers are so loyal that you’d actually miss me if I didn’t post for a couple days, I wanted to give you all a heads up – I am going to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off all weekend, so it’s possible I won’t have anything to blog about until Monday when I can sit still for five minutes.

First, there’s the Big Game. If you live in the bay area, you know that this is the football game between Cal and Stanford. Being a Cal alum, and living in the general Berkeley area…Big Game is kind of a big deal.

I’m not actually going to the game – not sure it would be any fun with an 8 1/2 month old baby – but I am going to a tailgate party before the game. At 9:00 in the morning.

Then after the game, when my college friends are (hopefully) celebrating Cal’s victory over a few too many beers, I’m going to another friend’s baby shower. Two big events in one day!

And then Sunday, as I’ve mentioned before, is the big Sonoma Artisan Faire, which I plan to attend so I can get all my holiday shopping done and meet a bunch of my favorite etsy sellers. With any luck, I’ll remember to bring my camera, so that if you aren’t able to get there yourself, you can live vicariously through my photos (and add many new people to your etsy favorites list).
