I've been having a lot of fun sorting my bag of watch parts from the antique show last weekend, and I've even made a few little things, just to get a feel for how I can use them in jewelry designs.
These earrings are about as small as you can get. They are magnified in the photo; the little gears are maybe 2-3mm, and the pearls are the smallest I was able to find at the Tucson gem shows in 2005. And I spent a lot of time looking for tiny pearls that year...
I think they have a steampunk feel because of the gears, but I've never seen steampunk in such a small scale. - Subscribe
