Drill Bit Sizes: Update
I managed to find some very small sized drill bits at a local hardware store, only to come home and discover that a #60 from the hardware store is actually *bigger* than a #56 I bought from Otto Frei/Frei and Borel. So my post on bit sizes a few days ago may be true, except that I'm not sure if the numbers are for the hardware store brand or the jewelry supply shop brand. I'm guessing the jewelry brand...
In the meantime, I'm going to look up mm sizes of various wire gauges - that way, if I'm buying drill bits at a jewelry supply, I can ask for the correct mm size for the wire gauge I'm using.
