My Wordless Wednesday post from yesterday shows a freeform pendant I made by partially melting silver scraps. It’s a very organic process in which I fuse and melt bits of wire and sheet until they form a sculptural piece that is interesting to me.
Once I have my silver piece, I usually embellish it by adding a focal bead, in this case a bright green glass bead.
I photographed the piece on a mirror, and I love the look of the pendant reflected underneath itself. To me, it almost looks like butterfly wings when photographed this way.
