Today’s Picasa tutorial is really more of a tip. It’s something I try with most of my jewelry photos – the sharpen function.
You can find it under the “effects” editing tab, and if you click on it, it basically emphasizes lines in your photo.
It won’t fix a photo that’s really blurry, but if you just want to add a little bit of definition to a photo that’s not quite sharp enough, it’s perfect for that. Since I am terrible about actually *using* a tripod, many of my photos benefit from a bit of sharpening….

Ahhhhh, the joys of photo editing software. I don’t know what I ever did without it!!

Kirstie – uh-oh, does that mean I have to do something? LOL!
Marisa – I’m not sure how I ever had a decent photo before picasa, since I can’t use that photoscape program you all rave about (my PC would die if I installed a single other thing on it).
