On the back wall that is too thin, what about those picture hanging hooks. They are like long push pins that go into the call and show a hook side for hanging things. This would be good for hanks of seed beads, vintage chain, strands of gemstones or even hang some inspiration there! Fill it with the season's in-colors! Now I just gave myself an idea!
