Although I’m not a clothing designer, I’m inspired watching the designers on the show Project Runway, and I’ve missed watching this season since we don’t get the cable channel that it’s on. Then one of my friends from JET (the Jewelry on Etsy Team) told me you can watch episodes online – and it’s totally legal too!
So I’m catching up on this season and getting really inspired to make some great jewelry. Now that it’s fall, and we’re heading into the holiday (aka dress up) season, I have an excuse to make some bolder, fancier pieces – and my son is learning not to yank on earrings, so I may even get to wear some of my designs to holiday parties this year.

I’m so glad you can watch it now. I’m always thinking that the outfits need jewelry! It’s too bad they don’t have a JETs wall to go along with that Macy’s accessories wall!

I know, I’m always thinking about these crazy couture necklaces to go with the outfits….but I don’t usually have 10 hours straight to work on a piece, LOL.

Project Runway is great and we always watch it at home, hope they employ more interesting and talented contestants.:~.
