I ran across some cool, very old looking bangles at a salvage store in Berkeley and had to buy them. A few weeks later, I thought of the perfect way to “upcycle” them into some great new jewelry. I left the bangles themselves as-is because I like the aged look (slightly chipped enamel over a metal that looks like brass, kind of a green/tan finish overall), and just added some charms to them. Here’s what I came up with:
