I’ve been making earrings this week. Pro Arts Gallery in Oakland asked me to bring in some new earrings for their gift shop, and I had an idea to use up some sterling silver findings, like the flowers in the second pair of earrings shown here, by adding a few beads and using them as earring dangles.

Then I decided to make some rings by fusing some argentium silver wire, and use them in the same manner (see the first photo). The designs are nothing earth-shattering, but I think they are fun and fashionable, and they are definitely easy to wear because they are lightweight and on comfortable french hooks.

I like using handmade components whenever possible, so these earrings all feature beads dangling on fine silver head pins that I made.
